In the Western part of the country, in a dominant position on a hill of morainic origin, stands the ancient building that is commonly called “Castle of Cernusco Lombardone”. Most of the construction is of medieval origin (first half of XIV century). The tower is located on the south-eastern edge is of fourteenth century origin, built with shaped stones. The other tower, the missing two sides, located on the north edge, was built with rectangular and has a height of ten metres. The palace, built with stones and bricks arranged in a herringbone pattern, has single lancet windows and a porch.
